Meet the Author

The Railway Coastal Museum presents an upcoming event, “Meet the Author”. Our first local author will be Kenneth Pieroway, who is a faithful volunteer here at the museum. Drop, by the museum on August 24^th from 2:30 until 4:00, when Kenneth will be doing a slide presentation of his latest book, Trains of Newfoundland. Depicting a cross-island visual journey from St. John’s to Port Aux Basques by rail from 1951 – 1988 all in colour. He is a great educator and custodian of the railway history of Newfoundland. His other books include Rails Across the Rock, Rails Around the Rock, and Streetcars of St. John’s.
